Start ‘em & Sit ‘em Week 4
Fantasy Football – Seattle Seahawks Week 4 Predicctions
Well, at least the debacle in Seattle last week resulted in something good – the regular Refs are coming back to work! See – everything happens for a reason!?!
The Seahawks figure to have a much easier time against St. Louis this week although there is not a whole lot of Fantasy Gold associated with this team.
That said there is definitely some starting material from the Seahawks for your Fantasy squad – let’s take a look!
Seahawks Fantasy Forecast for Week 3
QB Russell Wilson
40 yards rushing – 150 yards passing, 1 TD
Wilson will likely not be Fantasy startworthy for the foreseeable future but he does look poised for a rookie. He has averaged around 150 yards passing per game so far – no reason to think any different about Sunday’s game. He is fairly predictable in Fantasy terms which is a refreshing!
I love the kid but not for my Fantasy team!
Besides this game is going to be all…
RB Marshawn Lynch
90 yards rushing, 1 TD 2 catches -10 yards
He has at least 20 touches in every game this season and Sunday should be no different. He is averaging over 100 yards per game this season and has had a good career against the Rams. When Marshawn Lynch gets the ball he produces and on Sunday he will most definitely get his looks.
Start him in your Fantasy league with confidence!
WR Sidney Rice
4 catches – 50 yards, 1 TD
With Russell Wilson projected to go for just 150 yards, there just isn’t enough to go around to appease the Fantasy Gods. Although it was Golden Tate that caught the two TDs last week, I expect Rice to be the recipient this week.
He is a serious risk in Fantasy but he should be good for 3-5 catches and 50 yards with that possible TD.
WR Golden Tate
2 catches – 30 yards
The Rams actually have an OK secondary. I think Golden Tate falls back to earth a little this week – it is going to be the Marshawn Lynch show in St. Louis. He is not a Fantasy starter – don’t get duped by last week’s performance!
WR Doug Baldwin
2 catches – 30 yards
Hopefully he stays healthy. I think by next week the Doug Baldwin we came to know and love will be back and ready to go.
WR Ben Obamanu
1 catch – 10 yards
As mentioned, there is simply not enough yards or passes to go around.
TE Zach Miller
3 catches – 30 yards
The Rams play Tight Ends tough – 0 TDs surrendered to the position in their last 13 games. But the Tight End has been a big part of Russell Wilson’s attack so far and they should continue to be a favorites target going forward. The running game however is going to steal the show in this one!
PK Steven Hauschka
2 FG 2 XP
Defense/ST
3 sacks, 1 interception, 1 fumble
This unit has been insane and now has the pleasure of lining up against a Rams team that got absolutely manhandled last week by the Bears. Coming off a 9 sack performance against Green Bay, 3 sacks is a conservative estimate for this week.
Start the Seahawks with no hesitation – they will likely outperform their projections.
